Welcome to Mathsversity! By accessing or using our website, mobile application, and services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "You", "Your") and Mathsversity ("Company", "We", "Us", "Our"). Please read them carefully before proceeding. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the Service.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful educational purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account.

You agree that you will NOT:

  Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other user accounts, or our systems.

  Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service, including introducing malware, viruses, or harmful code.

  Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or collect data from the Service without our prior written consent.

  Share, resell, or redistribute access to the Service or its content to unauthorized third parties.

  Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on the rights of others.

  Use the Service to cheat, manipulate scoring, or gain unfair advantages in any of our educational activities, challenges, or leaderboards.

  Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law while using the Service.

Any violation of these acceptable use provisions may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without prior notice.

To access certain features of our Service, including personalized learning, progress tracking, and premium content, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  Update your information promptly to keep it current and accurate.

  Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and login information.

  Not share your account with others or allow any person other than yourself to access the Service through your account.

You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account, including any purchases made or content accessed. Mathsversity is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your account.

Mathsversity offers premium course access and paid services. This section governs your purchase and use of paid subscriptions.

Payment Terms:

  One-Time Payment: Premium access is granted upon a one-time payment processed through our payment partner Cashfree Payments. The current fee for premium course access is ₹100.00 (Indian Rupees) or as otherwise displayed on the course page.
• ⏱️
  Access Duration: Upon successful payment, you receive access to the enrolled course(s) for a period of 30 days from the date of payment, unless otherwise specified on the course page. After this period, your access will expire and you may renew by making a new payment.
• 🔒
  No Recurring Billing: Mathsversity does not operate automatic subscription renewals. All payments are one-time transactions. You will not be charged automatically upon expiry.
• 🔄
  Renewal: To renew access after expiry, you must initiate a new payment through the enrollment page. Renewal is subject to the same terms and pricing in effect at the time of renewal.
• 💵
  Pricing Changes: We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time. Changes will be effective for new purchases and renewals. Existing paid access remains valid for its original duration regardless of pricing changes.
• 📋
  Taxes: You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or fees associated with your purchase.

Payment Processing:

All payments are processed securely through Cashfree Payments (India). By making a payment, you agree to Cashfree's terms of service and privacy policy. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

Our Content:

All content, materials, and technology available on Mathsversity, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video clips, data compilations, software, source code, educational content, problem sets, exercises, algorithms (including IRT and ML models), and the overall "look and feel" of the Service, are owned by Mathsversity or its licensors and are protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.

Limited License:

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Mathsversity grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not:

  Copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written permission.

  Use our trademarks, logos, or brand names, including "Mathsversity" and the Mathsversity logo, without express written consent.

  Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of any software or technology used in the Service.
• ⛔
  Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices displayed on the Service.
• ⛔
  Sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or otherwise commercially exploit any part of the Service or its content.

User-Generated Content:

You retain ownership of any content, including comments, feedback, or problem reports, that you submit to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Mathsversity a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such User Content for the purpose of providing, improving, and promoting the Service.

You represent and warrant that your User Content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights or any other rights of any third party.

Suspension by Mathsversity:

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict your access to the Service immediately, with or without prior notice, if:

  You violate any provision of these Terms, including the Acceptable Use provisions.

  Your conduct could harm other users, third parties, or the operation of the Service.
• ⚠️
  You engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

  We suspect unauthorized access or security compromise of your account.
• ⚠️
  Required by law or at the request of law enforcement.

Termination by Mathsversity:

We may permanently terminate your account and access to the Service for repeated or severe violations of these Terms. Upon termination:

  Your right to access and use the Service ceases immediately.

  Any prepaid fees or unexpired access periods are forfeited and are non-refundable.
• 🗑️
  Your profile and data may be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Termination by You:

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at mathsversityinfo@gmail.com. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about data deletion following account termination.

Effect of Expiry:

When your paid access period expires, your access to premium course content will be automatically suspended. Your free account and any non-premium features will remain accessible. You may re-enroll and make a new payment to regain premium access.

Mathsversity operates a strict no-refund policy. All payments made on the platform are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or in the case of a technical error on our part resulting in an incorrect or duplicate charge.

By making a payment, you acknowledge and agree that:

  All premium access fees are non-refundable, including for unused portions of the access period.
• 🚫
  No refunds will be issued for voluntary account termination or discontinuation of use before the access expiry date.
• 🚫
  No refunds will be issued for account suspension or termination due to violation of these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mathsversity provides the Service "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied. We expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and uninterrupted access.

In no event shall Mathsversity be liable for:

  Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

  Loss of data, learning progress, profits, revenue, or business opportunities.
• ⚠️
  Service interruptions, delays, errors, or technical failures beyond our reasonable control.

  Actions or omissions of third-party service providers, including payment processors and authentication providers.
• ⚠️
  Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to or use of your account.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Mathsversity in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

This limitation of liability applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Both parties consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts and waive any objections to the laying of venue therein.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Mathsversity may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights or confidential information.

We reserve the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

Material changes will be communicated to you via email or through a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.
